a Tea Drinking Octopus

2007 A commission to make the Wolf started the sculpting bug again and I made a second one for our Annual Auction.

...the mice were a later development...

2008 Another commission this time for a creature for an "underwater scene".

Each of the tentacles of this Octopus will hold a teacup!

The trunk is just a sample for height -
it will be perched on a proper Pirate's Chest.

If he'd had a spare tentacle, I'd have
had him "nicking" some of the jewellery
but he needed two tentacles as legs and one to balance which wouldn't have left many for cups of tea!
